F5MUX - TK5UX - TM77M - TM7XX

After three decades of doing DX and Contests, my main focus is now exploring possibilities offered by SDR technology, remote station and QRP.

After 30 years of Ham Radio, I never asked for the DXCC award. Chasing DX is just pure fun and I spent the age to collapse the green boxes on Clublog ;-)

I really enjoy CW and SSB, and sometimes a little bit of RTTY. But sorry, I'm totally allergic to PSK & FT8 modes!

Catch you on the air.

Lee, F5MUX

Previous callsing : FB1MUX & FM2GO

Dec. 2017 Remoterig RRC-1258 with the IC-7100
(remote station near Pornic IN87vd)

Since a few days, I discovered the remoterig solution for the ICOM-7100. It's amazing to be able to use your transceiver, as if you where at the main location, without using a computer! I just need to take with me the IC-7100 front panel and one of the RRC-1258 MkII unit, to be autonomous. This concept is just magic. Bigs thanks to Mike (remoterig.com)

Nov. 2017 Kenwood TS-850 LP-PAN 2 IF with CW Skimmer

This old TS-850 is my favorite rig since 25 year ago. He has left now for two new decades. Thanks Larry N8LP, the LP-PAN 2 is a amazing équipment! I received it yesterday and use it with a old computer Windows XP and external sound card EMU 202. The famous CW Skimmer software works perfectly and I get the spots in the Logger32 bandmap.

Nov. 2017 QRP contact with 100 mW into a small vertical R8!

Short QRPP contact on CW just with 100 mW (0,1 Watt) into a small vertical R8. Thank LZ307MU!

IOTA Contest 2016 in Corsica TK5UX

Big thanks to my friends Pat TK5EP & François TK5AE. Thanks to everybody who called me during this IOTA Contest. This modest setup working perfectly and it was a great pleasure to stay 24 hours. Just a few QSO on S&P but major activity with great pileup. Optimization with 15 points QSO and good skip with UK stations.

(recording from Brittany thank Jeff)
