Amateur Radio Station G0APM - Op: Clem

Many thanks for taking a look here. A brief history. . . .

The call sign G0APM originally a UK 'A' license is now classified as 'Full' under the now three tier arrangement which is: Foundation, Intermediate and Full.

The call was issued 31st January 1985 after passing the DTI 12WPM Morse Code test at the North Foreland Coastal Radio Station in Broadstairs Kent, the Kent station closed back in 1991.

I still hold the original call sign G6DHJ (link here) issued 14th August 1981, a UK 'B' license, now 'Full'. Legacy UK 'B' licensees with prefix G8, G6, G1 G7 and M1 were gifted/upgraded to 'Full' for free when the 12WPM Morse Code test requirement was dropped in 2003.
