President of the Radio Society of Great Britain in 2000 and 2001. Past Chairman of BARTG. Past President of CDXC, the UK DX Foundation. Past Secretary of IARU Region 1. FOC membership # 2006

A member of the Radio Society of Great Britain Board 2010 - 2013. Acting General Manager of the Society 2011-2012

Have operated from a number of IOTA islands, and also as 9M2/G3OZF, 5B4/G3OZF, VR2/G3OZF and P29VZF. Also held the call KF6FCD.

2009 operation from Austral Islands as FO/G3BJ and from Niue as ZK2BJ

2010 operation January as T32BJ

Operator at 9M4SLL (Spratly) 2013

A member of the TX6G team in March 2014 (76.8k QSOs from the Austral Islands, French Polynesia in 12 days) and of E6GG in September 2015 (48k QSOs from Niue, South Pacific).

I no longer collect QSL cards. LOTW is updated regularly. If you need a card from me, please QSL direct with SAE or payment for return postage (international postage is now at least $1.50). IRCs are now difficult to use here in the UK.

Now living in the South Shropshire hills, close to the border with GW, with plenty of space for antennas. Active on 1.8 - 50 MHz SSB, CW, RTTY and SSTV. Operate in contests using the contest call G5W.

Station comprises two FT5000 transceivers with linears, one 40-10m yagi, one 20-10m Stepp-IR yagi, dipoles, 90ft vertical, beverages and K9AY. Here are a few photos of the antennas and equipment
