First licenced as G4DWV in March 1975 - did not want a VHF-only licence so waitied until I had the morse code test passed before applying. I have also held the callsign 4X1LT since 1984. I was intoduced to amateur radio by a classmate at school, who is now G4DPF.

Back into Amateur Radio after a very long break of over 25 years - QRV since September 2014 this time. Very excitied at all the modes one now has so easily compaired to the old pre-PC-in-the-shack days.

I still much prefer paper QSLs and will always reply to those sent via the bureau. SWL QSLs are also welcome.

I send out my QSL cards in QSO order, but give priority to requests received via Club Log. LoTW and eQSL uploaded daily.

By day I am a dentist. I really enjoy the work, but like with most people who deal with the public, I do have some stories to tell. I run a small forum for dentists at http://4-uk-gdps.com
