I have been licensed since 2003, but just got my General license in October 2014 and picked up a Yaesu FT-767GX. My antenna is currently a fan dipole for 80/40/20 hung between two trees in my backyard, one end at about 50 feet, the other at 25, sloping down from West to East.

I have recently gotten some QSL cards printed, with a design made by my brother-in-law, and I enjoy sending and receiving QSL cards. I will reply any cards received, with or without SASE. My digital logs are uploaded all over the place - I use Log4OM which automatically does this, but on QRZ I have to manually import so it's not as frequent.

I enjoy working special event stations, some DX, and digital modes - currently JT-65 and JT-9.

Locally, I monitor the VHF/UHF repeaters in my area and I am Secretary of the Joplin Amateur Radio Club.  I also volunteer with Jasper Co ARES (Missouri) and work on their web site. I experiment with RTL-SDR dongles on Raspberry Pi - currently one monitors APRS and the other ADS-B traffic that is uploaded to flightaware.com.
