Hello

New ham here just upgraded to General in Feb. 2015 and still learning how to make all this work.  My Grandpa was a ham for over 60 years and I loved to watch him on the air when I was a kid.  He went silent key in 2005.  I decided to start learning the hobby in 2014 and got my tech and then got Grandpa's call sign to keep it in the family.  I know this would make him happy.  Now I just hope I can learn all this to have as much fun as he did.  I enjoy PSK31 and other digital modes and want to learn CW.  Other hobbies are gold prospecting, camping, photography, guns, geocaching and driving my Jeep with the family.  I'm looking forward to meeting and learning from all the hams I can.   73
