We call this the modern side, Flex,Icom756pro3,746 for 2 meter SSB, Collins S-line for fun and like most shacks it changes all the time. The 2 amplifiers on the right are homebrew for 6 and 2 meters, The 2 meter  is W6Po design w/8877 tube easy legal limit, 6 meter is Russian GS-35B tube that I built water cooing jacket for and have a cooling tower in the closet works very well never  have to think about heat problems.ftttt

Below is Collins S-line with 30 L one amp, and couple of Novice CW rigs, Heathkit DX-40,Knight T-50 (its like new inside)and Johnson Challenger.

Some of the Vintage  Rigs, DX-60B line w/VFO and HR-10  reciever, a lot of 6am, A Valiant that  gets  used, The SB-220 is 6 meter only and has all possible updates, The Hammarlund 170 gets rotated with NC-300 and Collins 75A3 really like the NC-300, The Johnson Ramger is setup  with the Johnson 6 n2 transmitter for 6 and 2 meter am it also has the Rare matching Reciever converter and vfo to make a complete station. The control panel in the center has switching for 4 recievers and 4 transmitters and is controled with a squencer  so only one t/r is needed the panel also takes care of muting and  speaker along with cw keyer. First licensed in 1972 WN8MTT, one year upgrade WB8MTT, until K8EB,, Have worked all bands 160m thru 24ghz. Ran K8EB contest station on vhf/uhf and microwave. Retired in 2010 from turning wrenches in auto and truck repair. Enjoy building and restoring old radio,, or well most anything that can be fixed, having restored two airplanes and several boats. Married 49 years to bride who also loves to travel.

Ok so as promised many times I will try and add a few pictures of what is often called Studio B ,,, the place where we keep our surplus treasures. This was started in the fall of 2016 and put together as a quick project, being located in a downstairs family room it does not get used much in the winter here in Michigan but is a fun place to hang out. There is quite a mixture of gear including more of my 6 meter AM collection, the little Heathkit setup is the original series and has had the same modes as the B series used often in the upstairs stack as you can guess I like the little Elmac's and have the complete line (and some extras)

The consul in the corner is setup with a 4 step sequencer so only one T/R relay is needed and the electronic antenna switches can select 6 transmitters and 6 different receivers,,there are jacks for mic and mute and also control for an amp.

Ok one more the latest project is my 70's Yaesu station this all started with a spur of the moment purchase of an FT-101 EE while on vacation in Florida, one Saturday morning found me at the local church where they where having a little ham swap and the  rest is history. You will here me on this fall with this one just having some good fun.
