Got my tech license in 2008 and upgraded to general in 2009.  I was a big Yaesu fan back then so my first purchase was the VX-7R.  Excellent radio!  I wanted to dabble a little with APRS so my second purchase was the 8R and was one of the first ones in Denver to grab one.  Another great radio.  In 2011 I got interested in DSTAR and purchased my first DSTAR radio, the IC92AD.  in 2012 I had a chance to play with the 31A and couldn't resist.  Now that the 51A is out it just makes more sense for me to invest in a radio that I can share accessories with.  With that in mind the 92AD is up for sale.

My newest toy is the 440 DVAP.  Without a doubt I must say this is probably going to be one of the most enjoyable purchases over the past few years.  I'm still learning the ropes but so far it's just incredible.
