Hi,Thank you for looking me up, I  am a COML (communication unit leader) for the regional EOC (emergency operations center) in the San Luis Valley.I have been a Search and Rescue, Rescue climber since 2008 and Red Cross Disaster Volunteer since 2007.  I got my KD0SAU in 2012 and have been having fun on the radio since.

My home station consists of an old Icom IC-738, an Alnico DR-635, and a DV dongle for D-Star. My antenna is a g5rv made by w8amz . My Mobil rigs are both Yaesu Ft-857Ds and lots of varies hand held radios.

My love for radio came from my grandfather who was a radio operator for the Army during the Korean War. Many of his old buddies have told me he could type at 200 words a minute on the Army's radio teletype machines. He also was very fast on CW both reading and sending.  He started teaching me Mores code when I was young and thats how I got hooked.

I am a part of the KD0QPG group in Creston, Colorado.

I send QSL cards so don't be shy to key up to get one.
