Ham Member Lookups: 310

Thanks for looking me up!

I'm a new ham radio operator, I just received my license in August 2014.  I passed my technician and general class exams at the same time and plan on upgrading to the extra class.

My HF rig is a Yaesu FT-857D.  Because I live in an apartment, my antenna situation is complicated.  A 40 meter MFJ Hamtenna on my balcony works ok and I can tune it up to 12 meters with my MFJ 949E, possibly 10 but I haven't tried it yet.  A fellow ham let me borrow his Alpha Antenna System Military Stick to try out and I'm able to get out much better with it.  Besides setting up portable, I'm always looking for better more efficient apartment friendly antenna ideas that won't get me into too much trouble with management.

Thanks for stopping by.
