I'm new to the hobby, learning something new every day.  Working on my General ticket at the moment as the Technician was only a teaser to the multitude of other modes of transmitting. (Update, as of May 18th 2016 I now hold a General class license)  I have always been interested in radio transmitions from the early days with the kids walkie-talkie to CB radios in my first vehicle (redneck cell phone) in the late 80s to early 90s when only the rich had cell phones. Always had an interest in electronics, communication and electrical devices.  As a kid I would tear apart old TVs, radios and whatever was available to "see what makes it tick". Its almost like this hobby was waiting for me it just took decades for me to make friends with a Ham and he lit the match.  Since then I found that the Denver Colorado area is full of Ham operators who are willing to help you out or give advice on how to improve whatever project your working on.  Will add more as I think of what to add to my bio.   73s
