First licensed in 1978 as WD4OHW, moved up the ladder the old fashioned way, 5 wpm and 13 wpm, from Novice to General then to Advanced, all tests given by the FCC out of New Orleans, received the call KE4UK as Advanced class then moved to New Mexico from Alabama where I obtained the call KF5YH. After moving back to Alabama I chose to revive the KE4UK call as a vanity call. Rig is a Flex 6300 into an Ameritron AL80b into a Palstar AT2K 2 KW tuner. I use the Ameritron ARB-704 for keying the amp. Antenna number 1 is a home brew 80 meter full loop with an 80 meter inverted vee tied at the same feed point, swr sit at 1.3:1 on 3.965 mhz .  Antenna number 2 is a 6 band Hexbeam from NA4RR up 35 feet.  Rotator is  Yaesu G800DXA. The computer is also home brew, quad core, 750 gig hd, and a vizio 24 inch tv for monitor. 2 Meter and 70 cm radio is the Yaesu 8800 r/e to a Comet dual band 3/4 wave mobile antenna.

Also have some old boat anchors on the bench, a National NCX 3, NCX 5, Atlas 215X, and a Collins KWM2A which is all original.
