I learned ham radio in 1954 when I was a freshman in the college and fall in love with ham radio in Korea. I was one of the founder of the Korean Amateur Radio League founded in 1955, operated HM1AJ and served for KARL as a director and editor for 15 years (last 3 years as the President of KARL) before we moved to U.S.A. in 1973. My XYL was HM1AM, the first YL radio operator in Korea. (She did not get U.S. license.)

We love driving too and drove around U. S. A. and Canada 9 times as shown in the above map. All black and red lines are also where we have driven. The 8th. and 9th. driving tours around U.S.A./Canada in July, 2016 and 2017 was just to visit Korean hams in U.S.A. and Canada.
