I'm a fairly new Ham and am looking forward to making contacts both near and far. Currently I have an FT-60 and a FT-857D.  I just recently acquired a Ten-Tec Omni VII, and love it!  Occassionally I set up my Hi-Q mobile antenna in the backyard mounted to a custom built tripod.  I also put up a Hamstick dipole for 15M, it works!  Any help with stealth antenna designs would be greatly appreciated!  So far the hobby has been fun and I've met a lot of friendly people.

Recently received an end-fed antenna from PAR and it seems to work great!  Also bought a Spiderbeam pole so I can get the antenna up in the air.

For the curious; my picture is from a contact with the SCARS net, just after I got my Tech license. At the time I had no other radio/antenna, so I had to do what I could to maintain contact with the local repeater. I was talking with Slav (UA3QGN). Pretty cool talking to folks on the other side of the globe with just an HT!
