Thank You for looking me up!I run 100 watts from an Icom 7410 thru a homebrew pi L tuner into a 90 foot end fed sloping wire. The wire has 6 reflecting radials underneath it.10feet high on the fed end, 30 or 40 feet high on the high end.I operate from a small city lot, so for 75 meters that is the biggest antenna I can erect!I also have severe local QRN from the usual city sources, typically s7 to s9.S3 is very quiet for me.The 7410 DSP really helps, as does my sennheiser headset. The 718 in the photos is superceded by a 7410....I can hear far better now.It is almost like my qth moved to a quiet location. My homebrew tuner is unchanged except for a couple of HV transmitting doorknobs I strap on for 160m.

I use EQSL.Thanks!

I would like to add to my friends across the pond, especially the G4 stations in the window on 75 my signal decreases as the trees in my yard gain  foliage from april until the leaves fall in october. My very sincere thanks for digging me out of the QRN in the summer months!

My thanks to G4AMN, EI6S, G3LNP,GW4RIB,G4PEL,G4OFY,G3UCK and the other stalwarts in the window for always being so kind.Thank you gentlemen!

The horror that is KI4WCA's tuner. The big cap is 1856mmfd and I bought it when I was 15 for 15 dollars at a hamfest in NY.It has tuned VLF crystal sets and been a great asset over the years. Now it is the main tune cap in the shack!

The basement operating position.Note the power plant buss for station ground and the copper strap that goes to the tuner. When not in use, the rig is disconnected from the antenna and ground completely.

The main pic at the top of the page is the receiver stack at KI4WCA.Icom 8500 on top, next a Drake R8A, then 2 ITT Mackay Marine 3031A's.I sure miss my own room for the rigs, but the basement works well.....when the water isn't pouring in!
