                                                       1991 Toyota "Antenna Holder"

My new address is 220 Royal St. SE Leesburg VA 20175

Former Service Manager of  Heath/Zenith Computers on RT.1 in Alexandria, VA. I serviced and repaired many Heathkits between 1982-1992.  Well 2016 is rapidly coming to an end. I tend to hang out on 40 meters working the nets and rag-chewing, but also enjoy Special Event stations and State QSO parties. I also relay via Echolink the Sunday night ARUFON net on 80 meters. You can learn more about this at www.arufon.org. The writing bug bit me 3 years ago and I have since contributed a number of articles on EHAM.net. I enjoy writing these as do writing short stories. Current rig was a one sent to me by a ham in Canada called "Mike" an FT-990, what a difference from the FTdx-570! Other radios are a well worn but working HTX-200 HT and a 300 channel Pro-2004 that covers 25 MHz to 1.2 GHz recieve. Also have a RTL-SDR dongle for grins. Hobbies other than radio and writing are Tai Chi, gardening, pet sitting/walking, photography and sailing or being near the water when I get the chance. By trade I have been in computer and desktop support with various contracts over the last 30 years with a great deal of time supporting the Army Logistics and other commands at the Pentagon.  Adding another possible sideline business other than Dog Boarding I have started my own Website creation service. Its for those folks that want their own webpage but don't have the time to make it themselves.

I am overwelmed (again) by the items other hams have sent me to keep me on the air. Those that did I acknowledge you here on a public forum but will not give out names or callsigns. 16 years in the 5-sided puzzle palace I know how to be discreet. You know who you are and I thank you very much and hope we can meet on the air soon.
