Introduction:

I am an amateur radio operator, born in 1998, licensed in 2013. I am located in Efland, North Carolina. Currently a student at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

Aside from amateur radio, I enjoy hunting, fishing, shooting sports,welding/metalworking, and playing guitar.

I am a member of the Orange County Radio Amateurs Club as Well as the Durham FM Association , another local amateur radio club. I am also a member of the American Radio Relay League, and Potomac Valley Radio Club .  CW is my favorite mode and that's where you'll most likely hear me. I enjoy trying out all different kinds of keys and paddles. At my operating position is A Begali Sculpture, Hi-Mound HK-908 and a 1954 Vibroplex Blue Racer Deluxe. Main interests in ham radio are DX'ing and contesting.

I also enjoy working the satellites. I am using an Arrow II handheld yagi antenna and a Yaesu FT-530 for FM satellites and I am using a Yaesu FT-817 and Yaesu FT-290RII for the linear transponder satellites. I have also enjoyed roving to activate some nearby grids on satellites.

I am running a Yaesu FT-450D at 100 watts with a ZS6BKW Antenna up about 70 feet.

I am SKCC member #12071T, FISTS #16727 CWops #1403.
