Hey everyone, thanks for stopping by! I first licenced June 2016 as KM4VDM just in time for field day. I received my General class field day of 2017. I received the vanity call N4LAZ November of 2017. For my rig I use an Icom 737a with 100w barefoot. My current antenna I use on HF is a G5RV with a 4:1 balun. I have it up around 30ft. I also have a 10m moxon up around 30ft. The moxon is "the bomb" on 10m, and i have no trouble catching an opening! I sadly dont have my 4 element 6m beam up at the moment.

I have recently started getting on the satellites! I mostly operate on the fm sats, but hope to get back on the linear sats too. I also have enjoyed qrp since picking up my Yaesu 817nd. I regualry operate qrp from the back yard, and also enjoy going to a few local parks to operate! I hope to start roving satellites with a good friend of mine soon! I have recently started dabbling in DMR, but i am not very active yet.

Out side of ham radio i am a quality control technician for a precision machine shop here in Statesville. I really enjoy my work! I enjoy fishing in the many trout streams here in NC. During the warmer months i mostly spend my free time on the radio or out casting a line some where! When i get the chance I like to get out and do a little hunting too. Any how thanks for stopping by, and i hope to hear you on the air soon!

73s to all, de N4LAZ
