Hello and thank you for visiting my page.

I'm a new ham! On July 8th 2017 I passed the Technician and the General class exams and was given the callsign KM6LOT! I'm enjoying 2-meter and 70cm repeaters here in Southern California and also WinSystem where we connect to a local repeater that uses IRLP to connect to many others in the US and other countries. I use DStar with my Icom IC-51A Plus2 {it's the Blue one since I love the Los Angelos Dodgers baseball team].   I also have a DMR handheld with works well with the local repeaters. I also have a SharkRF OpenSpot which I use to connect to my DStar friends when I'm mobile through my cell phones data connectoion to the internet. I'm currently learning APRS and in the next few months I will get the gear to work amateur satellites.

73 and I hope to speak with you soon!
