Greetings from KO4LJ "Todd",  My son Bryant "KN4DCO", and my lovely xyl Davy,

My name is Todd, and I have been a ham since 1989.  My first call sign was KC4MTY that I carried until obtaining the Advanced Class License when I became KO4LJ.  I primarily enjoy chasing DX and rag chewing on the local repeaters, but have found a great interest in the DMR system , as well as FT8 and other data modes as of late.  I graduated from Appalachian State University with B.S. in Communications in 1992.  My years in college in the North Carolina mountains proved a wonderful playground for ham radio with the elevations above 3,500 feet.  I made a lot of contacts and freinds during those years.  I now live in Winston-Salem NC where I own a business in the Underground Fence industry "which really my job is building very large loop antennas and burying them ;)".  Interestingly antenna building has always been a favorite part of this hobby for me, and the underground fence is basically a Delta Loop that's buried.  So, I've built quite a few Delta Loops to say the least since 1997 hi hi!  My other hobbies are motocross racing and fishing, but usually will have the Ham Radio along even when enjoying those ;)  My wife Davy is from Phnom Penh Cambodia, she enjoys the radio using the GMRS, and I hope one day to let her hear her own country here in our radio shack. We traveled there last March 2017 and I did have fun with echolink getting back to the guys at home.  Took the DX 440 reciever along and enjoyed some listening time.  Next time I travel there I will be using my new Cambodian call XU7AKH.  73's from the KO4LJ station !
