Many thanks for looking up my QRZ page. I'm Steve, I passed my foundation exam on Friday 4th March 2016 and I gained my callsign M6JJV on Monday 14th March 2016.

I operate HF from my car. My rig is a Yaesu FT900AT usually combined with a Ampro 40m mobile whip, which, with only 10 watts, I have found to get me many contacts all around the world. I occasionally use a G5RV from my home QTH as an inverted V on a fiberglass fishing pole.

I operate 2 meters from my home QTH. My 2 meter rig is a Trio TR9130 combined with a Diamond X50. I also operate 2 meters and 70cms mobile from the car using a permenantly installed Baofeng GT3.

My hobbies are flying model aeroplanes and playing guitar. I'm in a band, and from time to time I work as a sound engineer. I also design and operate the lighting for the local Christmas pantomime.

Here are a few photos of some of the different pieces of equipment that I use with bands while i am sound engineering-
