DStar simplex gateway for Brandon, Suffolk, UK
It has a range of about 5 miles with a handheld and further with a mobile setup.
If you wish to use MB6BD these are the settings for your transceiver:
RPT1: MB6BD C (remember that C needs to be the last character in the 8character field)
RPT2: MB6BD G (remember that G needs to be the last character in the 8character field)
Repeater shift needs to be enabled + or - doesn't matter
Shift needs to be set to 0.00mhz. Yes I know that sounds ridiculous, however otherwise the transceiver will not transmit RPT1 and RPT2 so it then won't work.
MB6BD works on a linking schedule, and connects to variouis Reflectors during the day. However this can be switched to any reflector repeater or callsign of choice.
MB6BD is DTMF enabled so it can be switched between reflectors, see the DTMF page on dstar101.com for more information.
Should you wish to link directly to MB6BD the DTMF is 4016, linking using URcall use MB6BD CL
