I was born in 1973 and first licensed in 2009 with the call sign KB1RTQ. I am currently active SSB, PSK, PKT(satellite)SSTVRTTYJT9 & JT65. I hopefully soon you will will find me on the lower portions of the bands operating CW, but I'm still learning as of right now.

I am a big fan of QSL cards, both electronic and paper. I've even been getting SWL Reports which are very welcome as well. Any card I receive I will send one in return 100%. If you do not receive yours, let me know, I'll get another one out to you.

Proud member of the Nashua Area Radio Club, AMSAT, & ARRL.

Satellite

My first experience with satellite activity was receiving an SSTV image from ARISS (Amateur Radio on the International Space Station) in April 2016. Since then I have received many NOAA weather images and another SSTV image from the ISS. I kept hearing packet activity on each pass of the ISS and as of today (24JUNE2016) I finally managed my first 2 way QSO with a station in Canada! This has been one of the more exciting aspects of this hobby for me and will be sure to pursue more contacts. Hope to hear you soon!
