Hello from sunny Florida! I've been a ham since 2014 and I'm loving the hobby. If you're wondering why the 1 call sign, I changed my original call shortly after getting licensed to include my initials and there were no 4's available so I ended up with N1SER.

I'm currently running the following:

Yaesu FTM-400DR, 2m/70cm and Fusion

For the VHF/UHF base stations I have a Diamond X50A mounted in my attic (HOA) which seems to be working well for now.

For HF I have the Icom IC-7300 powering an EARCHI End-Fed 6-40m antenna mounted to a telescoping mast on one end and attached to the chimney on the wire end and also my main antenna which is a G5RV Jr. (by Truetalk on eBay) strung in a tree in the inverted V configuration. I'm usually tuned around the 40m and 20m bands for SSB voice and digital modes such as PSK31 and JT65. Stop in and say hello.

I'm also running the TAPR WSPR-Pi at 100mw on a random length wire and being heard regulary >1000mi.

I've received my first set of QSL cards from Randy at KB3IFH QSL Cards. Check out his work if you're interested in designing and printing a set for yourself.

This was the Diamond X50A before I had the chance to mount it in the attic.

I work full time in the IT field as an IT Systems Engineer specializing in Windows Server. I've also been a professional photographer specializing in portraiture over the last 5 years... but have since closed my photography business to get back more time for family...  Now I love taking photos of the night sky and other interests my wife and I have. Here are some examples.
