Below this is a photo of my shack as of December 2012. My old friend the DX-160 in the very back, the KX3 (what a dream radio), the tank ...er...the SGC-2020. Front and Center is the Viz Key Verticle Bug. ITS GREAT, call Tom, buy a bug, he builds great stuff!

Interesting that in 1967 or so I when got the DX-160 it was brand new and a gift to a wanna be ham. Today in front are the new things, the KX3 and the ipad, boy have times have changed. There's no strings or wires as I write this on a bluetooth keyboard and surf via wifi. More interesting is that tonight, I took the photo with my iphone, it synced via icloud to the ipad, and I edited this with the iPad!

Isn't our hobby cool!

I enjoy Kit building. Still in love with QRPcw. Rigs include NC-20, RH-20, 38Spl, SST-40, SMK-1, a pristine HW-7and matching power supply (its available) and a ROCK MITE-40. My SGC 2020 is now on standby or for use in the truck.

About a year and a half back I renewed my interest in CW and joined SKCC, I am on the yahoo group. I joined the club been issued a number and can be found on the Sked Page in the evenings on my KX3 or KX1 and my home made multi band attic antenna....

My Blog is www.btfom.comI post about my radio fun there.
