I was first licensed in 1983 as KB4KJP.  After moving back to California in 1985, became KB6QIT. In March 2017 I became N6TAS.  I retired in 2007 from the Superior Court of California where I was a Senior I.T. Analyst.  I spent about 30 years in the computer business with the last 8 at the Superior Court.

Other than Ham Radio I also enjoy Fly Fishing, Fly Tying, Kayaking and Cycling.

My radio interests are mostly with digital modes, especially PSK-31, JT65, FT8 and RTTY.  I operate mostly QRP from an antenna restricted location with a Cushcraft MA6V vertical up about 25 feet. If I can get away with this rather small vertical I hope to improve on it. Still waiting for the U.S. Senate to approve the Amateur Radio Parity Act that the House of Representatives has all ready passed.  Then the big antenna can go up.  I operate mostly with a Yaesu FT-817 for digital modes and some cw.  I also operate cw and voice with a Kenwood 520se.

I will QSL direct 100%.  I also use eQSL and LOTW

Hope to see you on the air
