Hi - I'm getting back into amateur radio after an absence of many years. I'm 'antenna challenged' due to covenants, but have thin wires in back yard - very inefficient. Currently (2010-2011) I'm active mostly on 80, 40, and 30m. As sunspots increase, I will be adding *something* for 20-15-10 antennas. I'm looking forward to 10m activity again, and have seen some openings even now. I'm 10x # 29032.

I must apologize to my contacts while I am relearning cw. I'm still rusty, and thanks to all of you who have shown patience with me.

My equipment consists of 1) TS-830s Gold, with AT-230 antenna tuner (original owner); 2) TS-850s, second hand; 3) ICOM R75 aux receiver. I have several QRP kits in boxes, and hope to begin work on these pronto in 2011.

I was originally licensed WA7SHZ (Advanced) in late 1971; moved to California in summer 1972, was WB6THQ; moved back (relief!) to Seattle in Fall 1972, was WA7VKB; approx. 1980 I changed to KB7YE (new calls for Advanced); Jan 1983 I upgraded to Extra, was given NA7I, which I have held (almost) continually since.

In Spring 2009 I switched to K7JRC - a temporary mistake (two weeks only); I'm again NA7I as of May 15, 2009.

BTW, I use Dick, from my middle name - not John.
