Firstable, just a few notes for digital modes. I am using CQ calls very often with the additional abbreviations especially in FT8 or JT modes:

For example CQ NA means I am calling stations from North America, CQ SA (South America), CQ AF (Africa), CQ AS (Asia), CQ JA (Japan), CQ VK (Australia), CQ ZL (New Zealand), CQ ZS (South Africa), CQ OC (Oceania area).

When someone is calling CQ with these abbreviations he is really NOT looking for replies from stations located in other areas. If someone is calling DX, he is looking for a rare or distant station and not for a station 1000 or even 5000 km away. Please accept it. Thank you for understanding and see you on the air. 73!
