Thanks for visiting my page.

I live in Trivandrum, capital city of Kerala State in India located near the South-West coast of Arabian Sea (Grid: MJ88mm).

An active SWL, BC DXer and TV and  FM DXer since 1982. Got my ticket in 2014.

Mostly I work SSB and Digital (JT65 and JT9). My preferred DX bands are 40, 20, 17 and 15

Awarded ARRL DXCC on 2 June 2017.

My Antenna:

HF: Homebrew Inverted V Dipole for: 80m, 40m, 20m, 17m & 15m

HF Multiband: Diamond WD-600 TFT - 2 MHz to 30MHz (for Field days and emergency operation)

VHF:  Homebrew 7 Element Yagi, GP, Homebrew, SlimJim, Diamond CP-22 5/8 vertical.

Weather Satellite Image (APT): Homebrew QFH antenna

My Radios: Homebrew HF VU SDR QRP, Homebrew Bitx 40m QRP, Alinco DX-SR8T, Kenwood TS-590SG, Icom IC-7300

Normaly I work DX with 250W or less as I found out from my experiance that 200-250W is sufficient to work Europe, Asia, Oceania, North America and South America with an inverted V antenna. I love to work QRP but present day electrical QRM makes it difficult to receive my signal at the other end. My fist DX QSO was with a Homebrewed SDR and 15w power to Italy. Amateur Radio Equipments are operated on Solar Power.
