Tune in to my Youtube channel @ Amateur Radio World.

SWL's. If you send me a reception report I will send you a SWL Card.

YES, I go by Joshua. I am 15 years old and live on a homestead in Concord, NC.  I got into amateur radio while listening to the local GMRS repeater on my brother's Motorola HT. Also, my uncle Terry (WB9KQF) reeled me right in once he found out I was interested. I am enjoying this hobby very much and trying to get some more "youngsters" on board. I also really enjoy building antennas and elmering. I am the net control for the Pine Board Ragchew Net which is held Tuesdays at 8:45 P.M. EST on the N4UH 2-meter repeater. My current station consists of the following: A Yaesu FT-840 and FT-747, a Kenwood tr-7950 and a Radio Shack DX-390. I also have a Baofeng handheld with some accesories that work GREAT. My antennas are: 98' mystery dipole at 35', G5RV at 42', Diamond X-30, Butternut HF6V, 17-meter Pathetipole.

When I'm not working around the homestead, you can usually find me monitoring the following repeaters:

N4HRS/H.E.A.R.S. system

W4BFB, 145.230

W4CQ, 444.450

And the East Coast Reflector.

And on HF arond: 14.245, 14.226, 7.242, 7.295

Special thanks to:

WB9KQF, Terry

W4YF, Jim

N4CYM, Benny

WN4HOG, Allan

for all your help and support!

My 2/6-meter dipole operating on the local repeaters at/on field day with my Kenwood tr-7950.

Playing around HF with my receiver at a campground in Mississippi

before I had my license. (My little sister makes a good background.)

Studying for my tech license during a road trip. (That's my serious face.)
