Thanks for stopping by while I celebrate my 50th year in the greatest hobby of all. I have been licensed since January, 1965.
My novice call was WN4WYD  – later to be WA4WYD. Then as I moved around with the USAF – calls changed quickly.
I operated as WA4WYD/5, WB2HUM, KL7FBK (Frost Bitten Kilowatt), WB4OIT/KL7, WB4OIT (40 years) and finally
W4MHA in honor of my 42 year old son who got his angel wings in 2010.
My station:
Kenwood TS-2000, SignaLink USB, Heath SB-220
Kenwood TS-570, K42 CW Keyboard, Heath SB-200, MFJ-989C Tuner
Both rigs using Ham Radio Deluxe.

My Bio:
Received Second Class Radiotelephone License in 1968 at Philadelphia Field Office. I was granted the First Class
Radiotelephone in Anchorage, AK in April, 1970. As most of you know the name was retired and became the General
Radiotelephone. I hold all FCC commercial licenses including Lifetime GMDSS and Ship Radar endorsement.
I have spent my working career in RF communications – up to and including networking.
NRE (National Radio Examiners) Master of Communications Technology.
iNARTE (International Association of Radio and Television Engineers) Certified Telecommunications Engineer - Master,
with Master Endorsement in RF Radiating, secondary endorsements in Administrative, Regulatory, Computer, Telecomm,
Control Systems, Education, Test Equipment Calibration.
Life Member IEEE.
Taught all phases of electronics (basic, digital design and microprocessor programming and interfacing) as adjunct instructor
at local community college for 20 years. Became interested in networking and taught the Cisco CCNA for the college Cisco

CQ - WPX - Mixed, Phone, CW, Digital with many endorsements.
I enjoy all modes and hope to spend more time on slow scan and satellite in 2015.

Currently primary caregiver for my lovely XYL of 50 years.
