I've been a ham since 1962, when I was 14 with the call WA3AMN.  Military duty and family then took priority, and I picked up callsign WA4LSR while living in Florida.  I'm retired now and still love this hobby.  All modes of HF have been my passion but now I've got the boat anchor restoration bug.  73 and hope to meet you on the bands.

This is my primary station.  The Kenwood TS 990 and Ameritron ALS-600. It is one very cabable radio!

When your whole back yard is a pool, you have to get creative!  This is my new K4KIO Hexbeam down low for camo painting.  SO far...no complaints!

I'm the one in the glasses, the furry one is Scooter!  This is my old station, all of which I sold and then treated myself to the TS-990.

For the last few years my ham radio focus has been on repairing and restoring vintage boat anchor tube radios.  I've repaired at this point about 10 Drake transceivers, a dozen Johnson Viking Rangers, Valiants, and 500's, too many tube amplifiers to count, R390A's, a variety of Heathkits, some Collins transmitters, National receivers and some other miscellaneous stuff!
Below are a few pictures of these classic radios.

And here is the Lafayette HE 10 next to the Johnson Viking Ranger which sounds really good on AM.

My first transmitter was this kit built DX-60 with remote VFO.

The R390A

I love working AM with this vintage gear as well as new.

Here is my Vintage Johnson Viking Valiant II paired with a National NC 183.

My pride and joy is the K7DYY Super Senior AM only class D transmitter paired with the R390A below.

Look for me at 3890 on 75 meters.  There is a geat group of guys there who really know their stuff!  I also work part time at the  Ham Radio Outlet Store in Plano, so come by if you are in the area and say Hi.
