I go by Bill.  William is a bit too formal..

Started in 1964 with WN5KXG and WA5KXG; and have had fun ever since - built over 8 amateur repeater stations from 2 meters to 1.2GHz.

I have been in broadcasting and RF engineering since 1970. Have built over 75 AM, FM and TV stations along with two 2000 foot towers. What a great deal of fun ! and they paid me for it too...

Home Rig: Elecraft K3, SteppIR DB42 at 108 feet AGL.   Grid: EL29co

HF mobile: Kenwood TS480 and High Q antenna.

In the Houston area, I hang out on 443.725 (110.9 hz) local repeater, which I maintain for Rod KB5TFE  and a 1292 MHz repeater (1292.10 R / 1272.10 T), which is mine.

As of August 26, 2016, I changed my call to W5VOM.

73 and the best of DX to you...
