The Radio Club of Tacoma is one of the oldest continuously operating amateur radio clubs in the United States, and 2016 was our Centennial Year.

Located in Tacoma, Pierce County, Washington State, the Club provides Emergency Communications, Education, and a gathering place for amateur operators in the community. The Club owns its own property (aka the Clubhouse).

The Club operates multiple HF stations with several wire antennas and a multi-band yagi on an 80 ft tower, along with a VHF/UHF station with yagis for 6M, 2M and 70cm.  A 2M and a 70cm repeater are located at the Clubhouse, and two additional 2M repeaters are located at different points in Pierce County.  The Club also houses the W7OS Clifford J "Doc Spike" Antique Radio Museum and a unique Library of old and new amateur radio-related publications.

VE Testing occurs monthly at the Clubhouse, and Technician Class license instruction is conducted periodically throughout the year.

See our website, w7dk.org, for more about the Radio Club of Tacoma, and if you are in our neighborhood on a Saturday, stop by during our open house hours from 10am to 2pm for an eyeball QSO and a doughnut.

QSL cards may be sent via bureau, or direct (with self-addressed stamped envelope) to:
