The Bellbrook Amateur Radio Club was founded on July 4, 1976.

Our purpose is to further the exchange of information and cooperation between members, to promote radio knowledge, fraternalism, and individual operating efficiency, to provide public service and disaster communications, and to so conduct Club programs and activities as to advance the general interest and welfare of Amateur Radio in the Bellbrook-Sugarcreek Township community. BARC members are actively involved in many community events include the Sugar Maple Parade, the Lion's Festival Parade, and other community and public service events. We are an ARRL affiliated club and support Amateur Radio Emergency Service (ARES). BARC frequently offers classes to help anyone interested in obtaining their Amateur Radio License or upgrading to a new license class. One of our most important events each year is the ARRL Field Day, which brings family and friends of BARC together for fun, food, fellowship and of course field day contacts on the amateur bands. BARC maintains two repeaters without PL/CTCSS tones (147.045+, 443.675+) open to anyone with a valid Amateur Radio License.  Each Sunday night at 8pm ET on the 2m repeater we conduct a weekly net open to all radio amateurs where we are "All BARC and no bite!".
