Hi my name is Ray.

I have been around ham radio for quite a few years. I was licensed as a Novice in 1962 with the call sign WN9BLP and went to Technican about a year later and lost my N in my call. Now my call is WA9BLP. Went from Novice to Technician to General to Advance and then to Extra class. .All of the test where taken in Chicago.

I worked for a company for 50 years and was head of the electronic divison. I am now retired and enjoying ham radio. I am running Yaesu yaesu  1200 and a Ameritron ALS-600 Amplifier into a Cushcraft MA5B at 55 feet on a Rohn fold over tower. Also I am a VE for ARRL and W5YI.

I'm also a ww2 veteran.

Other hobbies are fishing and taking it easy, hi. with my wife MILLIE. 73 RAY
