DX Code of Conduct

I care, I care, I care.

I WILL LISTEN, AND LISTEN, AND THEN LISTEN AGAIN

I WILL ONLY CALL IF I CAN COPY THE DX STATION PROPERLY

I WILL NOT TRUST THE CLUSTER AND WILL BE SURE OF THE DX STATION'S CALL SIGN BEFORE CALLING

I WILL NOT INTERFERE WITH THE DX STATION NOR ANYONE CALLING HIM AND WILL NEVER TUNE UP ON THE DX FREQUENCY OR IN THE QSX SLOT

I WILL WAIT FOR THE DX STATION TO END A CONTACT BEFORE I CALL HIM

I WILL ALWAYS SEND MY FULL CALL SIGN

I WILL CALL AND THEN LISTEN FOR A REASONABLE INTERVAL. I WILL NOT CALL CONTINUOUSLY.

I WILL NOT TRANSMIT WHEN THE DX OPERATOR CALLS ANOTHER CALL SIGN, NOT MINE

I WILL NOT TRANSMIT WHEN THE DX OPERATOR QUERIES A CALL SIGN NOT LIKE MINE

I WILL NOT TRANSMIT WHEN THE DX STATION CALLS OTHER GEOGRAPHIC AREAS THAN MINE

WHEN THE DX OPERATOR CALLS ME, I WILL NOT REPEAT MY CALL SIGN UNLESS I THINK HE HAS COPIED IT INCORRECTLY

I WILL BE THANKFUL IF AND WHEN I DO MAKE A CONTACT

I WILL RESPECT MY FELLOW HAMS AND CONDUCT MYSELF SO AS TO EARN THEIR RESPECT.

I wish to thank Dan, K7IA, for is work on an effective, such as clever at least, white paper about RTTY contesting.

Who is interested in please refer to Dan's pages here on QRZ just clicking on this text.

You will be happily surprised on how him could make easy to understand almost all about the the basics of the subject matter!

Dan's words:

Contesting!! Are you interested in contesting--especially RTTY contesting? I've recently created an essay covering the basics ofcontesting, the basics of RTTY, and how you can become a skilled RTTY contester. Send an email to me, and I'll send a copy of "Contesting and RTTY--the Basics" to you!

DX Code of Conduct

I am a former digital employe, it would be nice to meet anyone other from the same on air.

The digital logo is used without permissions and stands for DEC. It's not a tout court digital definitions as someone would pretend to call all digital modes. Poor engineering is not a valid excuse for blatant ignorance. Since the dismission of the RTTY DXCC. The start of RM-11708. The attempt to mix privileges changes and the same de facto RM-11708 into an appealing queery for new rules.

TU BEING THERE!
