Hi, my name is Filippo (Fil on DX), I'm 61 years old and live in Rome, Italy. I work as IT manager in a pharmaceutical research company. I'm married with Patrizia (swl I120/RM) and have a beautiful daughter, Alice. I played with CB transceivers during 70's, having several exciting DX and since 1976 I became SWL (Nr.65696, then changed to I0078/RM). Finally, in 2006 I got my OM license.
I like building antennas, general ham homebrewing and performing DX with just 100W. I started with a homebrew fishing-pole antenna and finally, in September 2008, I've been able to install my Butternut HF9V-X on the roof. Since August 18th 2011 my verticals have been replaced by 3 Yagi: a 4 el. 7 bands for HF (Eco DHF6), a 5 el. for 6m (DK7ZB) and a 5+8 el. for 2m/70cm (DK7ZB). I also like /p operations in QRP.
I will answer 100% to everybody, via direct, bureau and eQSL (AG member). I also regularly upload my Log to LoTW. For direct QSL no IRC or green stamps are required, but a SAE would be appreciated. If you have sent me a QSL without receiving reply, please send me an email, thanks.
Hope to meet with you on HF/VHF/UHF, phone, digital or CW (only QRS for now, I'm still learning :-) )
