IMPORTANT: K0E is used by at least two other groups during the year.  If you wish a QSL card for your QSO, please make sure that it is sent to the correct address and that the date of your QSO matches with the group using the K0E sign.  Check the dates of operation.

***************** CURRENT CONTEST INFORMATION FOR 2017 *******************

The following people operated to put K0E on the air.  We thank all the stations who stopped by during the QSO party.

Our log has been submitted to LOTW and EQSL, if you would like to confirm your contacts that way.  We would also be happy to exchange QSL cards by mailing your card to the address above.  SASE is appreciated but not required.

The 2017 Kansas QSO Party will be on August 26th and 27th! Once again, we'll celebrate with 1x1 callsign fun. Besides 19 plaques, thirteen mobiles, and all 105 counties active, we have 35+ 1x1 calls spelling KANSAS, SUNFLOWER (the state flower) and QSOPARTY using the last letter of the call. 1x1 ops with calls ending in Q, P, T, or Y (QSOPARTY) might be on part-time only, so don't give up!

You can earn a certificate with up to two antique amateur radio stamps including the 1964 Amateur Radio stamp, the 1965 ITU stamp, the 1940 Samuel F.B. Morse stamp, and two 1973 Progress in Electronics stamps (new for 2013). Also new are $50 gift certificates to win if you turn in a log. Hope you can join the fun!

Here's the direct link to the 1x1 Checklist. The text version is available from the KSQP web site.

The only BONUS station this year is KS0KS, which also counts as a wild card in the spelling challenge. More information is available at the KSQP web site including pictures of the stamps at the end of the Rules.

The KSQP Rules allow spotting, so thanks in advance for putting us (and all the other Kansas stations) up on the spotting nets. If you need QSL confirmation, follow the instructions below.

During the contest K0E will be operating from the top of the Science Hall at Emporia State University from the K0ESU station and will be competing in the MULTIOPERATOR category.  We are happy to exchange QSL cards.  We will not have a special card, but will send you a K0ESU card and indicate that you worked us as K0E.  We will also QSL via EQSL and LOTW

We will be operating mostly SSB. Throughtout the contest, we will be on 20 meters with occassional forays into 15 meters and 40 meters as conditions warrant and staying within the general class portion of the bands.
