K0ESU is the Amateur Radio Club associated with Emporia State University. Membership is open to all students, faculty or staff, and alumni of Emporia State University. ESUARC was founded in December 2011 and received the call K0ESU in January 2012.

We have a Hy-Gain 3-element tribander mounted on a 29 foot tower that is located on the roof of the north end of the Science Hall. We also have a trapped 40/80 meter dipole as an inverted-V mounted on the tower. In the shack, we have a Kenwood TS440-S transceiver.  This station would not have been possible without the kind donation of equipment, talent, and time from several local operators, several of whom are also alums of ESU.

We have operated as K0E in the last two runnings of the Kansas QSO Party.  We are also hosting a series of four special event stations for the current tetrad of lunar eclipses under the call sign of K0L.  We were on in April 2014 and the next one will be during the first week of October 2014. There are two more eclipses in this series in 2015.  We hope to be on during the next running of School Club Roundup during the week of 20 - 24 October 2014.
