I received my license in WV in 1957 and have had the same call ever since. I've had several periods of inactivity while attending to school, family, work, and business matters, but have had a renewed interest in amateur radio over the last several years. I operate some on 40 meter SSB and some digital modes on 40 and 20 meters, including JT-65 and JT-9. The picture below is of my Heathkit collection station a few years ago, all operational. House downsizing has made it necessary to sell off most of the Heathkit equipment so I have to rely now mainly on my Yaesu FT-1000MP or my Icom IC-7100 to make contacts.

Besides my amateur extra class license, I have or had other licenses including First Class Commercial Radiotelephone, Registered Professional Engineer, Pilots license with fixed wing and hot-air balloon ratings, General Contractor license, Real Estate Broker's license, and two degrees, BSEE and JD.

I've been through it all over the years but have been retired for over 25 years and just do what I want to now.  My middle name is Robert but I go by Bob.

Give me a call if you hear me on. 73's, Bob.
