Thanks for visiting my QRZ.com page. If we have worked each other, thanks for the QSO.
I use my nickname Bernie on the air. My station consists of an iCom 7700 transceiver, LDG-AT600 Pro Auto Tuner, Ameritron ALS-600S amplifier, Heil Pro 7 Headset, Grove SP200 speaker, K8RA P-6 CW Key, and, a GAP Titan DX vertical antenna. I also have a Yaesu FT-897D that is used primarily for portable/field operations. I also have an iCom 7600 that is located at my second home at Higgins Lake, MI.
I'm currently a member of ARRL, the ECARS net, the 7272 Rag Chew net, the Nightwatch net, the Marconi net, life time member of the Brothers net (#926), the Arrow Communications Association, the Ford Amateur Radio League, Garden City Amateur Radio Club, and OMISS (#10759).
It is not the class of license the Amateur holds but the class of the Amateur that holds the license.
It takes time to be courteous, to be considerate, and, to use good operating techniques. I Support the DX Code of Conduct and, I try to follow it every time I use the amateur radio bands to make a contact. Click on to the following link to learn more about the DX Code of Conduct and use it as your guide to help keep DXing fun.
I hope to meet you on the bands. 73 and good DX!
