My Radio history:
In early 1980, at age 16, I purchased a Panasonic "
walky talky" set of two radios. It was one
of those CB radios that only had channel 14 installed but I had a blast with it. It was like magic
and I was absolutely captivated by it and still I am !

Since then until late 1982 I became a DXer on SSB CB, building monoband antennas,
adding TX Corner Dubilier rotor. I met hundreds of new people worldwide over the next couple of years.
In December 1982, I had my novice ticket radio call LU1BJW, almost 3 years later I upgraded to General class,
after a morse code exam and early
21st century I got my Extra class licence.
Since then I made a lot of friends around the globe, I met some of them.
I bielieve that friendship
is the best part of this wonderful hobby.

I'm thanksfull to my Elmers who showed me the track since my early times in this science hobby:

Norberto Cohen LU1BJJ
Guillermo Iglesias
Carlos Martin LU1BEP (SK 2014)
Adrian Sinclair, LU1CGB

I'm most active on SSB and the digital modes (RTTY, PSK, DV D-Star) contesting
 as
single
operator and enjoying a multi-ops journeys (An average of 15 contest per year).
I'm working on getting
qsl for most awards, and one day I will apply them, in the meantime I am chasing paper.
I QSL 100%, via IARU Bureau (
preffered) or direct (QSL Manager in the USA). LOTW may be in the near future.
I don't really bother with eQSL since it's not official and just a business.

Operating Philosophy:
I believe that every QSO has value, whether it is a short QSO in contest or DX exchange or a lengthy
conversation with a neighbor.
