Hi from Jim --- N8LUV! (The LUV Station of Port Huron, Michigan)

I have been honored to be the "co-founder" of the DX-60 Net which meets every Sunday morning at 0800 local Michigan time on 3.880. This net has brought many new friends and great conversations over the years. I invite all to join us on the DX-60 NET for these unique conversations about those wonderful rigs of past times where the "glow" of the tubes warmed the room and said it all!

Interests are AM mode of operation as well as SSTV, Digital, Satellite Work, and CW. I work all bands from 160 meters to and including 1.2G. I have a unique station set which is comprised of four studios. All stations are up and running accept the Multi-Elmac and Gonset Twins.

----- Studio "A" holds the famed all chromed knobbed Native American Station by Heathkit. Here we have a mint Apache (modified audio) & with SB-10 SSB adapter, mint Mohawk (w/AC-2 conv), Seneca, Cheyenne/Comanche, Pawnee, and Shawnee. Mixed into the color theme is also a DX-60/HR-10/HG-10 station. The Mohawk is wanting the other AC-6 conv. HINT - HINT!!! An AM studio comprised of a STILL NEW IN THE BOX AF-68/PMR-8, and Gonset twins are sitting and waiting there turn.

----- Studio "B" holds the FT-767 w/6-2-440 modules totally computer controlled, FT-736 w/6-2-220-440-1.2G modules, FL-7000 amp. Various QRP rigs are: HW-7, HW-8, Scout, Argo-556, Argonaut-V, and Index Lab QRP++.

----- Studio "C" is the Heath SB line with: SB-401, SB-301 (w/2&6mtr conv), SB-201, SB-600 spkr, SB-610 scope, SB-620 panadapter, SB-630 console, SB-650 dig disp, SB-102, and SB-640 rem VFO. Also found is a pristine HW-101.

----- Studio "D" (bedroom) incompasses an absolute pristine TenTec Paragon station with the matching 238 tuner and pwr-sup/spkr combo. Also found here is the latest addition of an Icom IC-706MKIIG station waiting to be used for Field Day and camping.

Pictures will be forth coming. Thanks for stopping by and hope to work you soon! --- 73s de Jim - N8LUV
