My name is Frank ,born at '65 .As teenager I always had a great passion for wireless radio-systems.After graduating as electro-technicain be licensed since '91 as ON1BOF later on '93 as ON4UW.AFTER the decease (SK 04-02-2013) of friend and ham "Leon " ON4BAL .I have taken over his vanity call OR7W since 25-10-2013.

Contesting,DXing,DX'peditions,IOTA'S, building/modifying antennes and optional equipments.During the winterseason I'm focussed on the lowbands 40/80m and 160m .

6 Meter Magic Band.....

Once you've tasted this band then you're hooked for life ......

As novice ham operator I felt those experience from the start.
I started my activities as a QRP station on six .
During ES or other sporadics I always looking for DX on any mode.

In the shack as a novice CW Ham-Operator -On the top myself assisted by ON4MA Marc, On the roof ON4AKH Wim , pics by ON4BAL Leon ...Tnx to all for help .

 

My first QSL from a F-layer-propagation in 1992, worked with a homemade 144Mhz/50Mhz transverter 1.5 watts QRP power and homemade 5el. yagi .....later on modified in a 7el.yagi as you can see on picture.
