Being stuck in a radio free condo, I am reduced to operating Remote Base.

My main remote controlled station is at our weekend home in Sebring, FL consisting of a FlexRadio 6500, driving a SPE Expert 1K-FA solid state linear amp for ~1000W PEP into a 80M-6M OCF wire dipole at ~45feet.  Both the Flex and SPE linear are married to the PC running SmartSDR, which also feeds an Orban 9200 Optimod AM for external transmit audio processing:

I control this station over the internet using either the v2 SmartSDR iOS app with my iPad and iPhone, or via PC using Radmin remote desktop software, along with either IPsound, Fideliphone, or Skype for bidirectional audio transport.

My linear amp interface provides automatic remote band switching that follows the radio, and lockout for known high VSWR frequency ranges. Remote power outlet IP control for both the radio and the PC, along with a "dead man" PTT timeout timer that will power down the radio, assure positive control compliance at all times. This all results in great ease and safety of operation.

My vintage AM setup is also at the Sebring QTH, consisting of my heavily modified Johnson Ranger, Heath SB-220 amp, and Hammarlund HQ-110 and HQ-180 receivers.  Those are locally controlled only.  I also have a Gates BC-1H AM broadcast transmitter that I'm modifying for use on the 160M and 80M bands.  I hope to have that going in a few months.

I also have two other remote controlled stations in the Miami area, both based around Kenwood TS-480's.  One at my office feeds a ALS-600 Amp into a Comet H-422 40M-10M multiband trap dipole at 40 feet:

The third location uses a 80M-6M OCF dipole at 48feet.
