Ham Member Lookups: 750

I was in the USMC 1962-1965. After bootcamp in San Diego, I went right back to school there. I was in radio school, they said I was to be a code operator. After completing the course I went to Camp Pendleton and spent most of my time in a Communication Btn. I didn't have enough training to get my ham Lic at that time and really didn't have the time. With family and work I was all over the place.

I passed my tech test in December 2012. My General in 2014. I am doing a lot of learning. There are so many different directions you can go with this hobby. I do like digital field. I accuired an Ft2dr. Now I have a lot more to learn. My home base unit is an FT 450. I have an FT8900 in my car.  I also have an FT8800 for my 2 meter unit.

I belong to the Central Oregon Coast Radio Club.
