WA9FKB as vanity call in 1999. Ham radio got me started and led to

a career in the Navy as a Radioman, 18 years surface and 8 in Submarines.

I have been causing qrm for 56 years and proud of it.

Recently moved from Poway CA to Franklin AR.  Beautiful country out here and the signals seem to be booming in.

Playing with Swan radio among others. Ic765 Alinco 70th, Swan 700cx, skywalker 500 watt amp with filter, Yeasu FL2000B, Kenwood TS511, Kenwod TS430s, Galaxy V, Icom IC725 and Icom 726, MFJ CUB 40 mtr QRP, Kenwood TF6 Tri Bander and assorted power supplies. Butternut HF9V ground mounted behind my mobile home. Dentron MT3000A manual tuner and MFJ 300 watt intellituner and a 100 Watt LDG autotuner.  I have a lightning bug by vibroples, as well as a black widow Iambic Key and a Hi Mound Butter Dish Bug.  I also have a mini bug made by W6DYO for W3AXA in 1963 if the label is to be believed, that I bought for grins.and an old railroad straight key.

Swan, cause life is too short to have a puny signal.

(Still think everyone should at least learn the code)
