Rig FTDX5000MP,Using wire antenna's now until getting up the new tower since moving recently to the farm. I like to contest, ragchew, operate in CW traffic nets,and work DX mainly on HF. I was the past Kansas QKS CW TFC net manager, Tenth Region Op, and ex TCC op. Cw is great and it is my favorite mode.

I am semi-retired, presently retired from Boeing, but still working for Spirit Aerosystems full time in the Quality Assurance department, A.A.S Electronic Engineering.
U.S. Navy Veteran, AO2 Aviation Ordnanceman, VF-32, and VF-101 went to Topgun twice F-14AAA Tomcat on the U.S.S Independance. Spent 40 years in the aerospace industry so far, working on Cessna 150, 188 agwagon, 172, 177 RG, 180, Learjet 24,25,and 35model's,to the Boeing 737 Classic, 737NG, P-8A, 767, and many modifications on the 747's. Worked on all of the CRAF 747's for Pan AM. Modified the F-4's, and A-6E Intruder's
Built both Airforce 1's and helped modify the E-4B's. The communication equipment on AF-1 (747) and the E-4B's (747) was impressive to say the least :0) Went to Taiwan (Taoyuan City) and modified the 747 to haul the Dreamliner 787 parts around. Operating at the QTH of my friend Sam BX3AA.
Now I live close to Stearman Field airport in Benton, KS.
