Ham Radio All-Mode Transeiver Pair: Rare Kenwood TM-255A and TM-455A Radios. These are a matched pair, used for Sat and Moon Bounce work but have features needed for normal repeater and simplex on AM FM CW and SSB. These little guys do it all. Read the specs below for details. Sold only together. Have had very little use, been setting in the ham shack without being used because I never had the necessary antennas. Used a little on sideband, much better way to talk. In perfect condition, includes original mics, mobile mounting brackets, owners manuals with schmatics and some added power cords designed for use in a mobile setup if preferred. Pictures are of actual radios. Sell on ebay for upwards of $700 for the pair but I'd rather not deal with ebay. Call if you have questions. All-Mode Transceiver TM-255/455(A/E)
All-mode versatility enters a new era with our innovative TM-255A/E (2 m) and TM-455A/E (70 cm), both featuring a detachable front panel for easy mounting in a car. 40-watt output
Maximum RF output is 40 watts (TM-255A/E), and 35 watts (TM-455A/E). A HI/LO switch enables power reduction to 5 watts.
100 multi-function memory channels plus 1 call channel
Facilitating on-the-move operation are 101 memory channels, plus memory shift and memory scroll functions. Channels 50~98 are capable of storing transmit and receive frequencies independently.
Multi-scan functions
There is a choice of full band and programme band scans, memory scan with memory channel lock-out, MHz scan and V/M/C scan. The operator can also select time-operated or carrier-operated scan stop modes, and adjust scan speed.
Data connector for 1200/9600 bps packet
A 6-pin mini DIN connector lets the operator enjoy either standard 1200 bps or 9600 bps high-speed packet communications with a TNC.
DDS (Direct Digital Synthesizer) with fuzzy control
We've incorporated "fuzzy logic" control circuitry, so the main encoder tunes smoothly from fine (5 Hz step) to fast forward (200 Hz step).
Twin tuning dials
In addition to the smooth-action dial on the main unit, there is a click-type dial on the detachable panel for convenient mobile use.
Dual-menu system
The user-friendly menus -- which are also accessible via the supplied microphone -- are divided into two groups (A & B) depending on frequency of use.
Interference reduction
AIP (Advanced Intercept Point) circuitry allows the operator to choose either high sensitivity or a high intercept point to suit conditions. IF-SHIFT (SSB, CW) and a pulse noise blanker further improve RX performance.
TF-SET
TF-SET is available when the receive frequency is locked, so the operator can avoid losing a targeted station.
Multi-function microphone
The supplied remote-control microphone has 4 programmable function keys -- ideal for mobile operation.

NOTE: The mic connectors I use allow you to disconnect the mic without having to remove the faceplate. When used in data mode for sat or moon work, the mics are not needed and are best removed so you don't accidently key the radio. You can remove the faceplate, remove the mic cable and replace it with the mic itself and you will be back to stock. No modifications were made to the radios, just the added pigtail to the mic. |

Monster-sized, heavy-duty 1N3162 power diode. Measures a .393V drop on my multimeter in diode test mode. Peak reverse voltage, 100V, I-average is 240 Amps, I-surge is 3000 amps(!!!) Features a 3/4"/16TPI mounting stud. Data sheet available online.
Syntron power diodes (the smaller two in the picture). Wasn't able to find datasheets online. They're labeled "5P 50-0042" and "S4040". and both read an approximate .4V drop in diode test mode.
$15 for all 3, including shipping to the continental US. OR, make me an offer. Will trade for a time-delay relay, don't care if it's mechanical or electronic.

I'm selling my FT 450AT, rigs been sitting on my desk for over a year and not been used more than a couple times, due to just not having enough time to warm her up. I bought the radio new 3-4 years ago from HRO and have absolutely no problems with it. There are a few minor scratches on the top, but other than that it looks like new. It will be sold with the original box and manual (provided I can find the manual) and I will guarantee it to be in good working order. I have an Icom IC-7000 up for sale. This was my first rig after becoming a Ham and it has served me well. The radio comes with the original box, the original manual (still in the plastic), stock Microphone, and a Nifty IC-7000 Quick Reference Manual (very handy). This rig is in great condition and will not be DOA. Additionally, this rig comes from a non-smoking home.
The power supply and IT-100 auto tuner pictured are not included.
I am asking $1,000 + $30 for shipping and insurance with USPS delivery confirmation. The radio will be packaged well for shipping.

One Yaesu VX-7R 6m, 2m, 440 HT for sale. Non-smoking, no scratches, no scuffs, excellent condition. Really no wear at all. It was stored in a padded Faraday cage most of its life.
Includes the items shown plus an extra antenna not shown. The printed manual is missing, and the part of the belt clip that connects to your belt is missing. I disliked the belt clip immensely.
The original battery was replaced with an Empire 1500ma high capacity battery with a manufacturing date code of 5/2012. The original battery is not included.
The original antenna is included and in this radio it comes from the factory in 3 peices. You can assemble it into a shorter 2m/440 antenna or a longer 2m/440/6m antenna.
The writing on the face of the radio is factory perfect. It was however hard to make it come out well in the photograph. The radio has a factory non-slip coating and is waterproof to 1 meter for 30 minutes.
The extra antenna is a 20inch tri-bander worth about $40 new. I am including the extra antenna as a freebie. As it is 20 inches long it would make the shipping a bit more expensive. About $20 vs $10. However, I plan to bend the antenna into a USPS medium size flat rate box and I believe it will survive fine. If you want the antenna shipped in its own tube add $10.
I am asking $330. I pay shipping to your conus address via USPS priority mail.

They both come with all of the original accessories, including the EDC-173T quick charger, Lion battery, manual box, etc. In addition, they both come with the RT Systems software along with one RT Systems cable, the Alinco softcase and one aftermarket programming cable, and one Yaesu MH57A4B. This GAP Titan DX has been a reliable workhorse vertical antenna for working DX with QRP for 2 of the past 5 years. Participated and scored well in a number of contests using an ICOM IC-703. However, I've been QRT for the past 3 years due to medical issues, and now must sell this great antenna.
The package includes original instructions, nut driver, Balun Designs 1:1, 5kW Current Balun, Balun Designs Balun Mounting Plate, 5' Steel Mast, and 3' TV antenna tripod for roof mounting. The package even includes the guy lines and brackets. The aluminum still glistens in the sunlight!
